North shore invasive removal specialist

Goat grazing ecological service

Purpose-Built Spaces, Thoughtfully Situated

We have a specialized goat crew that is cared for by passionate handlers and have been trained to eat invasive plants. Buckthorn and phragmites are problematic invasive species, however they are a treat for the goats.

❋ Used in Integrated invasive management

When the project requires a fast turnover, relying primarily on goats can be a problem. We can do mechanical removal in addition to goat grazing, and follow up with chemical stump treatment at the end of the project to ensure the job is done right.

❋ Natural an environmentally friendly

The boar goat breed we use is known for its ability to produce rich manure, which helps nurture soil that has been degraded by invasive species such as buckthorn.

❋ Local goat management for northwest suburbs and North Shore

Unlike our competitors, our goats are housed in Lake County, Illinois — just 25 minutes from the North Shore area — and are carefully cared for, guaranteed to arrive unscathed and ready to graze on the most aggressive invasive species.

❋ Goat management Managed by professionals

We pride ourselves on being a company that not only provides new services but also brings many years of experience perfecting the art of goat grazing, leaving the site well-prepared for native plants.
